It's high time I wrote something about the rest of my boys. Luke turned 8 last week and to celebrate, Chad and I took all the boys to the Topsfield Fair. It's a large fair with farm animals for petting, pig and duck races (sorry I didn't get any pics), ammusement rides and lots of junk food. I strolled along and kept Dylan entertained while Chad went on rides with the boys. Sean was a bit upset about not being tall enough to go on the scarier rides, but he found a few that he enjoyed. I was pretty surprised when Luke said that he wanted to go on one of the more intimidating looking rides. At my request, they sat in an end seat of the pirate ship so I could get some good photos. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have suggested that as the end seats provide the most thrills. It was nearly impossible to get a good shot but here's one with Chad and Luke. You can see Luke a little, but he was trying to crawl under his seat for most of the ride so his head is pretty low. Fortunatley, they both survived and no permenant damage was done. We stuck to the more tame activities after that and were greatful that neither Luke nor Chad lost their cookies. I was especially greatful to "have to watch the baby" and not have to go on these rides myself.
That's my kind of weekend!

I just found this post and the pictures. So glad you are using this blog. The boys look very cute as a sunflower and sheep. I didn't go on the scary rides at Disneyland either. And I didn't even have the excuse of needing to watch a baby. I was the baby.

Glad you found it. I still can't seem to find anyone else's posts.
